The team at DallasMeetup is proud to announce that Kathleen LaValle, President & CEO of Dallas CASA, is the latest Featured Networker joining the lineup for DallasMeetup at Texas Live!.
Before becoming Dallas CASA’s CEO in July 2014, Kathleen practiced commercial litigation for three decades, earning distinction in Chambers USA and chairing the Texas State Bar Antitrust and Business Litigation Section. Kathleen currently serves as a member of the North Texas Foster Care Consortium Board and the Texas DFPS Community-Based Care Subcommittee.
Since 2019, when it began accepting all court appointments to Dallas County child welfare cases, Dallas CASA has served more than 8,500 child victims of abuse and neglect, helping to protect children and restore childhood, while encouraging each child to reach their full potential. Today, Dallas CASA serves more children in foster care than any of the more than 900 independent CASA programs nationwide. Ms. LaValle was included in D CEO’s 2026 listing of the Dallas 500 most powerful leaders in DFW. Last year, Dallas CASA was recognized by D CEO Magazine as the Nonprofit Organization of the Year and by The Dallas Morning News as a Top Workplace.
