David Harvey of Ameriflight joins DallasMeetup at Legacy Hall

Newly appointed Ameriflight President & CEO, David Harvey

From Southwest Airlines to Ameriflight, David Harvey’s career connects aviation, business growth, and the relationships that keep commerce moving.

DallasMeetup is proud to introduce Featured Networker David Harvey, the newly appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Ameriflight. With 27 years in aviation, David enters his newest chapter leading a Dallas-based company that plays an essential role in the air cargo industry. Read the BusinessWire announcement.

David spent more than two decades at Southwest Airlines, ultimately serving as Chief Sales Officer. He led sales across corporate, small and medium-sized business, government, and university markets, while overseeing important distribution relationships. His Southwest career also included leadership responsibilities in strategy, network planning, technology, and commercial performance, along with helping lead the integration of AirTran Airways.

He later served as Chief Commercial Officer at Wheels Up, overseeing global marketing, sales, pricing, and revenue management. Most recently, he advised airlines, travel technology companies, and enterprise clients on commercial strategy and transformation, including the use of artificial intelligence.

Now, David brings that experience to Ameriflight, the nation’s largest Part 135 cargo airline. Founded in 1968, the company operates more than 100 aircraft across 11 bases, with over 500 employees. Its services include feeder flights for UPS and DHL and on-demand cargo charters—a direct connection between North Texas aviation leadership and the supply chains businesses depend on.

For DallasMeetup attendees, David’s background opens the door to conversations that reach well beyond aviation: building commercial partnerships, navigating organizational change, improving customer experience, and translating technology into business results.

Whether you work in logistics, technology, sales, or entrepreneurship, those are challenges that cross industries—and exactly the kinds of conversations we want happening in the room.

Make plans to meet David and his team October 22nd! Register Here.
