Sejal’s progression from product manager to director has brought responsibility for the broader GoPass ecosystem, including its technical development, agency relationships and expansion. Her work has helped advance a platform serving more than 500,000 users, with capabilities including real-time journey tracking, on-demand transit and rider rewards. In 2025, Mass Transit magazine named her to its 40 Under 40 class, recognizing her contributions to the industry.
Her approach also considers what riders need beyond the transaction of buying a ticket. When announcing her promotion, Sejal highlighted GoPass’s forthcoming Live Journey feature: step-by-step directions, walking guidance, stop-by-stop information and real-time alerts designed to make travel easier to follow. It reflects a practical product goal—helping people understand what comes next throughout their trip.
That focus on people has personal roots. Growing up in India, Sejal saw how public transportation supported daily life and community connections. She has described listening to everyday riders as an essential source of ideas, alongside the data guiding product decisions. During Dallas winter storms, her work also helped riders locate warming stations through GoPass, connecting digital tools with an immediate community need.
