Adam Hunter of Broadway Dallas to be featured at DallasMeetup

Adam Hunter is a nonprofit development professional and Major Gift Officer at Broadway Dallas, where he leads corporate partnerships, major gifts, foundation relations, and community engagement initiatives that fuel one of North Texas's most iconic cultural institutions. In his role, Adam works alongside corporate partners, individual donors, foundations, and community organizations to connect meaningful giving opportunities with the transformative power of live theater. His portfolio spans Performance Underwriting Nights, the High School Musical Theater Awards, South Dallas ConnecTix program, Dallas ISD Day and Dallas County Schools Days, and a growing roster of corporate sponsorships that bring Broadway shows to the Music Hall at Fair Park and beyond.

A Dallas native, born and raised in Oak Cliff, Adam brings a deep personal connection to the communities he serves. His career in nonprofit development spans roles across the arts, youth development, and social services sectors, including positions at Momentous Institute/Salesmanship Club of Dallas, Camp Fire Green Country, and Goodwill Tulsa, where he served as Head of Development and Philanthropy. He began his career with the Boy Scouts of America, where he developed the values of service, leadership, and community that have guided his professional journey ever since, earning the rank of Eagle Scout along the way.

A 2025 Dallas Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree, Adam is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) candidate and an active member of AFP Dallas, where he continues to invest in the professional development of the fundraising community. He currently serves on the Dallas Regional Chamber Young Professionals Advisory Council and is actively engaged with the Tower Club Community Engagement Committee. His commitment to civic life runs deep; he approaches every donor relationship, community partnership, and funding conversation with the belief that the arts are not a luxury but a pathway to equity, access, and opportunity for every North Texas family.
