Wandaliz Turner of the Jane Nelson Institute for Women’s Leadership to be featured at DallasMeetup
The team at DallasMeetup is excited to announce Wandaliz Turner, Director of Community Relations at the Jane Nelson Institute for Women’s Leadership, is the latest Featured Networker debut joining DallasMeetup at Texas Live!
Wandaliz Turner is Director of Community Relations at the Jane Nelson Institute for Women's Leadership (JNIWL) at Texas Woman's University, where she leads strategic partnership development, stakeholder engagement, and external representation for the Institute and its three centers: the Center for Women Entrepreneurs, Center for Women in Government, and the Center for Leadership Research and Workforce Development.
She is part of the founding JNIWL team behind the Lone Star State Summit: Women in Public Service, an annual conference in its fourth year that convenes community leaders, elected officials, and public administration professionals from across Texas for a day of professional development, networking, and dialogue on women's advancement in public service across the state.
Wandaliz serves on the Texas Lyceum board, a nonpartisan, statewide civic leadership organization of 96 members drawn from across Texas's business, government, and civic sectors. Through this role, she has co-chaired two statewide Texas Lyceum conferences: one on Texas law enforcement and public trust, and one on Texas disaster response and recovery.
Her career spans military service, law enforcement, and county government across Texas. She holds a BA in Government, an MA in Political Science, and a Graduate Certificate in History, all from Texas Woman's University.
