The team at DallasMeetup is excited to announce Dan Powers, Chief Executive Officer of the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County, is the latest Featured Networker debut joining DallasMeetup at Texas Live!

Dan Powers serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County, a nationally recognized organization dedicated to providing Safety, Justice, and Healing for children affected by abuse.

Since joining the Center in 2000 as Clinical Director, Dan has held several leadership roles, including Chief Operating Officer, before becoming CEO. He works closely with the Board of Directors, community partners, and staff to advance the organization’s mission and expand its impact.

A respected national speaker, Dan has presented on nonprofit leadership, organizational culture, professional wellness, resilience, and burnout prevention. With more than 35 years of experience in child advocacy and nonprofit leadership, he is passionate about strengthening communities, building collaborative partnerships, and ensuring vulnerable children and families receive the support they need to heal and thrive.
