The team at DallasMeetup is excited to announce Olivia Jane Barnhorst, Director of Philanthropy at American Cancer Society, is the latest Featured Networker debut joining DallasMeetup at Texas Live!
Through my work at the American Cancer Society, I strive to build communities that are not just livable, but lovable - through philanthropy, connection, and collaboration alongside authentic relationship building. I will achieve my mission by using my strengths of active listening, coaching, creative design, strategic planning, and my true talent of empathetically breaking down barriers for people to actualize their fullest potential. I strive to pair strategy with heart, helping people realize their dreams while making a meaningful impact that lasts and makes their hearts’ sing. I promise myself and those I partner with to be inquisitive in the ever-evolving work of ACS, the cancer care, research, and advocacy spaces as well as world class best practices in the fundraising profession while also having confidence and optimism for a world without cancer.
Outside the 9-to-5? I stay busy giving back to my Fort Worth community as a proud Junior League of Fort Worth member and Chi Omega alumna. I also love a good book, cup of coffee, and being a good friend.đź’•
