Le’Spencer Walker of Target Accelerators to be featured at DallasMeetup
The team at DallasMeetup is excited to announce that Le’Spencer Walker, Director of Target Accelerators Activation & Growth at Target, is the latest Featured Networker debut joining DallasMeetup at HERO. 🥳
Le’Spencer Walker is the Director of Target Accelerators: Activation & Growth, leading Target’s entrepreneurial development initiative focused on scaling early-stage, emerging retail brands. With over a decade of experience at Target across various leadership roles, Walker has overseen the design and development of more than 1,000 products and holds multiple patents. He currently heads the Target Accelerator’s Activation & Growth Team, which bridges merchandising strategy and supplier diversity through Target’s belonging efforts by supporting women and minority owned brands.
Walker’s work is deeply aligned with Target’s REACH initiative (Racial Equity Action & Change), helping to build intergenerational equity and financial opportunity for diverse entrepreneurs.. He led team efforts for initiatives such as Target’s Black History Month assortment, emphasizing cultural authenticity and profitable inclusion—not charity.
Within Target Accelerators, Walker oversees the Activation & Growth track, where emerging retail entrepreneurs maintain full ownership while gaining access to expert mentoring, Target’s retail tools, and curated curriculum specifically designed for scaling retail impact. His leadership frames supplier diversity as not only a mission but as a sound and strategic business practice.
Beyond program management, he frequently shares insights on building entrepreneurial networks—for example, advising founders on tactical networking through tools like the Brand Canvas Model to strengthen partnerships and business growth.
Joining Le’Spencer are his Target teammates in Camille Britto, Erica Tesch, Jennifer Ray-Jones and Suzanne Oh. Make plans to meet Le’Spencer and the team August 7th! RSVP now.
