Shoba Krishnamurthy of DFW Alliance of Technology & Women to be featured at DallasMeetup
The team at DallasMeetup is excited to announce Shoba Krishnamurthy, President of DFW Alliance of Technology & Women, is the latest Featured Networker debut joining DallasMeetup at Texas Live!
Shoba Krishnamurthy is a technology leader, nonprofit executive, and passionate community builder dedicated to expanding access to technology careers for women and girls across North Texas. Professionally, she is a technology and data leader at Toyota Financial Services, where she leverages data, analytics, and technology to drive strategic business decisions. Outside of work, she has devoted more than a decade to strengthening the North Texas community through volunteer leadership, STEM education, and nonprofit collaboration.
Her volunteer journey began with LIFT Texas in 2013 and expanded to DFW Alliance of Technology and Women (DFWATW) since 2017. Today, as President of DFWATW, she leads one of North Texas' premier volunteer-led organizations focused on inspiring girls to pursue STEM careers and helping women successfully transition into technology through its flagship iLEADinSTEM and IGNITE programs.
Under Shoba's leadership, DFWATW has experienced significant organizational growth through expanded membership, strategic corporate partnerships, capacity building and multiple transformational grant awards. In 2026, the organization's iLEADinSTEM team was recognized as D CEO's Nonprofit Team of the Year, selected from nearly 950 nonprofit organizations across North Texas.
Believing that the greatest community impact happens through collaboration, Shoba has been an enabler for the creation of the North Texas Collective, bringing nonprofits together to share resources, strengthen partnerships, and create greater impact for the communities they serve. She believes that collaboration—not competition—is how lasting change is built.
Beyond nonprofit leadership, Shoba is deeply committed to developing the next generation of innovators. She regularly serves as a judge for the Dallas ISD STEM Fair, mentors and judges student hackathons and innovation competitions at schools, colleges, and community organizations, and actively supports STEM education initiatives throughout North Texas.
Her commitment to service also extends beyond technology. She regularly volunteers with organizations including Feed My Starving Children and the North Texas Food Bank, believing that strong communities are built by meeting both educational and human needs.
Shoba also serves on the Board of Directors of the Frontiers of Flight Museum and is known throughout the North Texas community as a natural connector who enjoys bringing together people, organizations, and ideas that create opportunities for others. Her guiding philosophy is simple: "No two dots are ever too far apart. Every meaningful connection has the potential to change a life, strengthen a community, or create an opportunity."
She believes every breakthrough begins with a conversation and every great community is built one connection at a time. As DFWATW celebrates its 25th anniversary, Shoba continues to champion a future where leadership is measured not by individual success, but by the lives we empower and the communities we build together.
