The team at DallasMeetup is excited to announce that Shannon Hendricks, Executive Director of Heart House, is the latest Featured Networker debut for DallasMeetup at Texas Live!.

Shannon Hendricks is the Executive Director of Heart House, where she leads efforts to support children from refugee, immigrant, and other under-resourced families through trauma-informed education, mental wellness, and family engagement programs.

With a background in education and nonprofit leadership, Shannon has dedicated her career to expanding opportunities for children and families impacted by poverty and displacement. She brings a compassionate, community-centered approach to leadership and is passionate about creating inclusive spaces where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Under Shannon’s leadership, Heart House continues to grow its impact across Dallas through high-quality out-of-school-time programming, literacy support, and advocacy for equitable access to resources and opportunities for immigrant and refugee communities.
