The team at DallasMeetup is excited to announce that Sebastian Vera, Founder of BioGroundz, is the latest Featured Networker debut joining DallasMeetup at HERO.

Sebastian Vera has spent 11 years in the specialty coffee industry and is on a mission to transform how our coffee communities think about waste and sustainability. While owning & operating a local Dallas coffee shop, Method Coffee, Sebastian witnessed firsthand the volume of spent coffee grounds being discarded daily. That insight sparked the creation of BioGroundz, a circular economy initiative based in Dallas, TX.

BioGroundz partners with local coffee shops, hotels, & gas stations to turn used coffee grounds into regenerative products like biochar, cosmetic products, sustainable dyes, & even a 12oz cup made from recycled coffee grounds! Through BioGroundz, Sebastian is cultivating a local ecosystem where waste becomes a resource, businesses become climate allies, and every brewed cup becomes a step toward environmental renewal.
