Nick Schanbaum of Durango TurnKey Services to be featured at DallasMeetup

Nick’s career has spanned law, corporate leadership, and technology startups—all of which led him to launch Durango TurnKey Services in 2024. At Durango, he’s focused on solving one of multifamily’s biggest pain points: the apartment turnover process. By combining smart technology with hands-on service, his team helps property managers and owners reduce vacancy days and drive stronger performance across their portfolios.

Nick began his career as an attorney at Locke Lord LLP, then spent seven years as in-house counsel at Ryan, LLC, where he focused on commercial transactions, M&A and international corporate matters. Transitioning into the startup world, he joined ParkHub as General Counsel and helped grow the company until selling to private equity in 2022. After ParkHub, Nick served as an advisor and executive to startups including Roofer.com, Kairos Water and Vend Park, driving growth, operations, and strategy in tech-enabled service businesses tied to real estate and construction.

A proud Longhorn, Nick earned his BBA in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin before completing his JD at The University of Texas School of Law. Now based in Dallas, he’s passionate about connecting with others in the CRE community, building trusted relationships, and finding practical ways technology can make the industry work better.
