Michael Thomas of ConnectIDD to be featured at DallasMeetup

The team at DallasMeetup is excited to announce Michael Thomas, Founder & CEO of ConnectIDD, is the latest Featured Networker debut joining DallasMeetup at Texas Live!

Michael Thomas is the Founder & CEO of ConnectIDD, a national disability empowerment agency that partners with disability-serving organizations, foundations, businesses, and statewide initiatives to strengthen programs, leadership, strategy, and long-term sustainability. Since launching the firm in 2023, Michael and his team have supported more than 30 organizations across eight states—work that collectively reaches over 5,000 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) each year.

ConnectIDD's work spans the full arc of organizational health: multi-year strategic planning, governance and board development, CEO transitions, program redesign, financial modeling, and large-scale community needs assessments. Michael also leads the Texas Disability Project, a statewide research initiative pairing quantitative and qualitative insight to shape future disability policy and system reform.

Before founding ConnectIDD, Michael spent 13 years as CEO of My Possibilities, where he led a $30 million capital campaign, built a 20-acre educational campus, and grew the organization into one of the largest postsecondary IDD programs in the country, serving 700+ adults each week. He holds an MBA from UT Dallas and a BA in Philosophy from SMU.
