Karsten is an athlete, entrepreneur, and industry leader with more than a decade of experience helping shape the sport of Ninja through elite competition, commentary, program development, and business growth. A 12-season American Ninja Warrior competitor and eight-time National Finalist, he is widely recognized as one of the most established and decorated obstacle athletes in the Dallas-Fort Worth market.
Beyond competition, Karsten has built a strong reputation for creative, insightful commentary, compelling storytelling, and confident on-camera presence. His work has contributed to the entertainment and growth of the sport, helping audiences better understand the athleticism, strategy, and culture behind Ninja.
He is the Founder of Ninja Project, a platform focused on functional fitness, obstacle training, and family entertainment. Over the past year and a half, Karsten has led the successful launch and execution of mobile Ninja Project course experiences, delivering high-impact programming to schools, churches, festivals, and community events across North Texas. This momentum has laid the foundation for the next phase: the development of a flagship Ninja Project Headquarters-a scalable functional experience center designed to elevate training, entertainment, and community engagement.
Karsten is also the Co-Founder of Tru Chalk, a leading liquid chalk brand used by athletes and gyms across the United States to support performance in Ninja, climbing, and functional fitness environments.
