Joey Grisham of Anna EDC to be featured at DallasMeetup

Joey Grisham is an accomplished economic development leader with extensive experience driving growth across North Texas. He serves as director of the Anna Economic Development Corporation, a position he first held from 2019 to 2023 before returning after his tenure as executive director of the Bonham Economic Development Corporation. During his time in Anna, Grisham recruited and facilitated high-impact projects, including mixed-use developments in the retail, medical, and industrial sectors.

Grisham’s previous roles include assistant director of economic development for the City of Rowlett, director of business recruitment at the Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce, and president and CEO of the economic development corporation for the City of Hutto. He is a member of the International Economic Development Council, Texas Economic Development Council, North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors, and the International Council of Shopping Centers. He has been named to D CEO’s Dallas 500, which recognizes the most influential business leaders across Dallas-Fort Worth.

Grisham earned a bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in business administration from the University of Mississippi, a master’s degree in political science from the University of Memphis and a master’s degree in economic development from the University of Southern Mississippi.
