Mooala founder Jeff Richards left the world of investment banking in 2016 to make a splash in beverage innovation. Being recently diagnosed with lactose-intolerance and seeing incredible opportunity to introduce organic, affordable plant-based milks to the US market, he left a vice president role at BNP Paribas to start the brand. Mooala, most famous for its plant-based Bananamilk, is sold in over 7,000 premier stores like Whole Foods, Target, Sprouts, Kroger, Costco, Publix, Wegmans, Walmart and HEB and more. Jeff is married to his wife, Maria, serves on the boards of Seed Effect and Rooted Expo, and plays the guitar at Munger Place Church.
