Erik Andersen is Head of Business Development and Capital Formation for Texas and the Southern U.S. at the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV) within TMX Group. He is responsible for focusing on driving growth and expanding TSX and TSXV corporate listings in the United States by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic relationships, and managing key client engagements. He is also responsible for promoting and helping form Capital Pool Companies (CPCs) in the United States.

The two exchanges are home to over 4,300 public issuers and over 6 trillion of market cap as of January 31, 2026. During 2025, $33B of equity capital was raised by companies on TSX and TSXV, making it one of the largest exchanges in the world for raising equity capital.

Prior to working at TMX, Erik worked for a number of major U.S. financial institutions, starting his career at Merrill Lynch in New York City. He lives with his wife Maria, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Plano, Texas.
