Bob Gibbons of REATA Commercial Realty to be featured at DallasMeetup

The team at DallasMeetup is excited to announce that Bob Gibbons, Real Estate Advisor & Tenant Advocate at REATA Commercial Realty, is the latest Featured Networker debut joining DallasMeetup goes CRE 🥳

Bob Gibbons is a Real Estate Advisor & Tenant Advocate. That title created the acronym which is the name of his company – REATA Commercial Realty, Inc. Since starting his career in early 1984 as a 20-year-old college junior, Bob has been involved in all aspects of the commercial real estate business and held positions such as property manager, leasing agent, broker, construction manager, development project manager, and asset manager. After 20 years working for landlords of office and warehouse buildings throughout the US, he “switched sides” in 2004 to exclusively represent the users of commercial buildings - companies and non-profits which lease or buy office, medical and warehouse properties.

Bob was the co-host of the radio show The Next Level Show – Conversations that Propel Business that aired on an IHeartMedia station through 2019 in the Dallas Fort Worth market. The 215 episodes are still available as podcasts and on the YouTube channel by the same name. He and his REATA partner, Jan Gibbons, now host the Confessions of a Recovering Landlord podcast with over 100 episodes. Bob has been also published in the Dallas Business Journal and other trade publications several times. In 2022, he published a book entitled Confessions of a Recovering Landlord – 12 Insider Secrets to Save Money on Your Commercial Lease.

Bob’s community involvement has included serving on the Planning & Zoning Commission in Plano, Texas for 5 years, the board of non-profit My Possibilities and the advisory board of the Brain Injury Network of Dallas. He has served on the boards of industry trade groups Building Owners & Managers Association, Institute of Real Estate Management, Commercial Broker Alliance, North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors, Alliance of Tenant Representatives, and ITRA Global, an international association of independent corporate advisory firms. He is a licensed Texas real estate broker, holds a BBA in Finance from UT Arlington and an MBA from The University of Dallas.

Bob likes real estate….but he LOVES his family - (wife Jan of 39 years, son Carson, 35, and daughter Meredith, 32). He enjoys snow skiing, hiking, mountain biking, white water rafting, and a lot of other things you can’t do in the Dallas area. Make plans to meet Bob and his team November 6th! RSVP Now.
